BOOKING POLICY

Palazzo Motor Lodge strongly recommend that travel insurance is purchased to cover costs arising from unforeseen circumstances and changes in travel plans.

Cancellation and refund policy

Cancellations up to seven days before the booked date are free of any charges.

Within seven days of the check in date will incur a 50% charge of the room rate

if the room cannot be re-let. Within 3 days of the check in date 100% of the room rate

for the booked accommodation will be charged unless the room is re-let at the same tariff rate.

Failure to arrive ‘No Show’ will result in full accommodation being charged up to the first two days of your booking.

Seasonal changes to the cancellation Policy apply to all bookings, between

18th December and 30th March up to One month prior to the check in date

will incur 50% charge and within Two weeks of the booked date 100% of the

total charge of the room tariff if the room cannot be re-let at the same tariff rate.

All reservations require authorisation of a valid credit card past the date of arrival.

Arrival and departure

Check-in is available from 2pm on the day of your arrival.

Check-out time is 10am on the day of your departure.

Early check-in and/or check-out is by arrangement only.

A late checkout fee will be charged.

If you are arriving after 6.00pm please contact Palazzo directly to indicate your arrival time and to secure your reservation.

Room service

Each suite will be serviced daily ensuring your room is kept to the Palazzo standard. Daily servicing of your room ensures your bathroom and condiments are refreshed if needed. On a long period stay a full cleaning service will be carried out on every 4th day of the occupation.

Your bed will not be straightened daily if personal items are left on the bed.

Payments

Credit Payment for all accommodation must be made in full on the day of arrival at check-in (if not already done so). Overdue/recovery charges may be made if your account is not paid according to the terms of the booking arrangement.

All transactions will be charged in NZD.

Changes in reservation term

Any change in reservation term will be treated as a new booking any deals or promotions agreed to on the original booking may not apply to the new booking.

Any alteration to a booking is subject to availability of rooms.

Earlier departure than the reserved date may not result in a refund.

Persons under the age of 18 years

Unfortunately, may not occupy a room on their own unless accompanied by parents or legal guardian staying in a separate room that have given permission and accept full and final responsibility.

Visitors

We understand many guests are vising Nelson to see family and friends,

visitors are welcome in your suite but we ask you to respect of other guests and that your visitors depart the complex by 10pm.

We request all visitors park vehicles on Rutherford Street as we supply one car park per suite within the complex boundary.

No large gatherings are allowed in any of the rooms.

Damage and Loss of income charge

For any reason that your room cannot be re-let after your departure due to damage,

cooking or smoking smells in the room or damage to the property within the complex

boundaries. Charges will be added to your account plus a further charge for any consequential loss of income.

Smoking/Vaping Policy

For the comfort of all our guests Palazzo is a totally smoke free complex and smoking/vaping is not permitted anywhere on the property. In the event of someone smoking/vaping inside the premises management will engage a specialist cleaning company and such costs will be charged to the registered guest.

Pets

Pets unfortunately are not allowed inside any suites within the complex but we are happy to assist you with a recommended pet sitter.

Group Booking Policy

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the value of the booking is required to confirm the Booking Two months prior to check in date.

Cancellations made less than 30 days from the check in day will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the value of the cancelled accommodation.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours from check in day will result in the total amount of the Booked accommodation being charged.

Environmental Policy

We strive to provide a clean, comfortable environment and friendly service that exceeds guest expectations, taking into consideration our responsibility to minimise the impact on the environment.

Guests are encouraged to consider the environment.

We recycle our waste – cans, bottles, bulk paper and cardboard.

Recycling bins are provided in all units and suites to enable guests to sort waste.

Guests are encouraged to consider re-using bathroom linen rather than requesting replacement with every use.
